Robert Alton Murry, 66 of Greenbrier, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2023. He was born in Camden, Arkansas on March 7, 1957 to Ben Murry and Weita McCall Murry.
There are so many things we could tell you about our Pop.
He was a lover of the Razorbacks, camping, the newest electronics (even when he didn’t know how to work them), cooking, hunting, and traveling. He loved his family fiercely and his wife was his best friend. His children and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He always took care of his people no matter what. He never met a stranger. He was a giver. But most importantly, he loved the Lord. Time is short. We aren’t promised the next day, but we have a hope found in Jesus Christ.
His grandson Lucas said today, “We are so proud of Pop because he loved Jesus and we know he is in Heaven.”
We are so thankful that we can cling to peace in knowing his eternity was secured in Christ and that this is not goodbye.
He is preceded by his parents Ben and Weita Murry and sister, Nellie Don McCormack.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Tammy (Juhl) Murry; three wonderful children, Maggie Barnes and husband, Ethan, Sarah Atkinson and husband Shane, and Micah Murry and wife Stephanie; five beautiful grandchildren, Lucas, Hudson, Henry, Levi, Hogan; one sibling, Rathel Murry; his pet fur baby, John Boy; mother-in-law Marilyn Garrison; brother-in-law, Mac McCormack and Jonathan Juhl and wife Lavonne and their children, Nathan, Lauren, and Emily Kate; nieces, Susan Wiggins and Renee Klatt and a host of family and friends.
