Roger Ramsey

Roger Lowell Ramsey 68 of Big Flat went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 15, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was born June 25, 1948 in Marianna to the late Garless and Faye Sisk Ramsey. He was a man of many skills. He was a professional Timber Worker harvesting timber with his sons. He was a member of the Round Mountain Community Church near Big Flat. Roger is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Lillie Treat Ramsey, his two sons, Jeffery Ramsey (Sheryl) and Darrell both of Round Mountain, brother Hulan Ramsey (Clara) of Fifty-Six, four sisters, Magilene Chadwick, Aldene Sutterfield both of Big Flat, Geraldine Broyles of Fox and Rose Stephenson (Bill) of Vilonia, two grandchildren, Katie Wayland (Michael) of Alaska and Denton Clayton of Mountain Home. He was preceded by his parents, two brothers H. C. Ramsey and Alvin Ramsey and a sister Eunice Ferguson. Services are 11:00am Monday April 17, 2017 at Round Mountain Community Church near Big Flat with burial in Wallis Cemetery with Bro. Gary Anderson and Bro. Charles Downs officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Sunday at the Church. Pallbearers are Rickey Treat, Bill Stephenson, Jeff Ramsey, Darrell Ramsey, Chad Freeman and Heath Freeman.
