Samuel Slaughter

Samuel Malton Slaughter, 78, of Guy went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2017. He was born on June 4, 1939 in Marvell, Arkansas to Lester Slaughter and Pauline Brown Slaughter. Sam was a member of Crosspoint Baptist Church in Greenbrier. Proceeding him in death are his parents Lester and Pauline, his wife Donna Slaughter, his brother Phil Slaughter and his granddaughter Stephanie Slaughter. Sam is survived by his three sons, Todd Slaughter (Lynette) of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Scott Slaughter (Connie) of Springfield, Missouri and Brian Slaughter (Donna K) of Abilene, Texas, his two brothers Paul "Buddy" Slaughter of Michigan and Greg Slaughter (Connie) of Bakersfield, California and seven grandchildren, Dustin, Courtney, Brandon, Laura, Michelle, Jonathon, and Katelyn. Visitation for Sam was held on September 10, 2017 from 2pm-4pm at Crosspoint Baptist Church. Services were held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11am at Crosspoint Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Bagby and Brother Tommy E. Guthrie officiating.
