Sandra Lynn Skinner

Saundra Lynn Skinner, “Sandy”, age 62, went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2020 in Hot Springs, AR after losing her battle with cancer. She was born in Hammond, IN, and resided Hot Springs for the last few years. She was a member of First General Baptist Church in NLR. Sandy had a passion for animals and her family. She dedicated her life to taking care of her son David, who preceded her in death, along with her father and stepfather. She leaves behind numerous friends and family including her best friend and partner of nine years, Robert Knight of Hot Springs, mother, Lynn Burke Smith of Woodson, daughters, Kristi Brewer (Gary) of Bryant, Katie Knight of Hot Springs, Janell Brown (Josh) of Sherwood, sisters, Sharon Houlette (David) of Benton, Shirley Harris (Rob) of Shannon Hills, Desiree Bell (David) of Hensley. Sandy is also survived by six grandchildren, Julia, Brennan, Kylie, Braden, Corbin, and Noah. She also leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 3 pm at First General Baptist Church, 5920 MacArthur Drive, NLR.
