Sharon Kaye Rodden (Davenport), a cherished individual known for their kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality, left us on October 1, 2024. Born on September 5th, 1967, Sharon lived a life filled with tremendous passion and service towards her family, friends and others.
Sharon is survived in life by her Mother, Glynda Davenport, Husband Jimmy Rodden, Son Chris Davenport and wife Alecia, step son James Rodden and step daughter Hope LaRue, Grandchildren Brayden Davenport, Gunner Davenport, Oliva Davenport, Bently Johnson, sisters Terry Hudkins and Tracy Batts, and many nieces and nephews, and loads friends and fur babies. Her departure leaves an unfillable void in their lives, yet they find comfort in the memories and everlasting love they shared. Sharon was also proceeded in death by her father Donald Davenport, Brother Ross Davenport and son Steven Johnson.
Sharon Rodden was known by everyone as a person that knew no stranger with a heart of solid gold, a personality, and a smile that would always liven up any room she entered. She had a strong passion and love for her dogs who were basically like children to her. Sharon also had a love for cooking and was an amazing cook that could cook anything. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids and going on road trips and vacations with them or just simply spending the summers and weekends at her house with them.
Sharon lived her life the best she knew how and left this earth leaving an impression on everyone she meet that will last forever. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering or struggling and that her love for all of us was greater than we could ever know.
The family would love to thank everyone that has called, text, stop by or sent photo and videos to comfort us during this trying time. Please keep all the family in your thoughts and prayers to help give us strength and comfort.
