Shawn Lee Johns, 52, of Bee Branch, Arkansas peacefully entered the Lord’s arms on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at home. He was born in Memphis, TN on October 15, 1972.
Shawn attended Damascus Road Cowboy Church. He was a maintenance man by trade and enjoyed woodworking. His dedication and love for his family was second to none. On August 25, 1993, he married the love of his life, Becky, and treated her like a queen for 32 years. He never told her no and would do anything for her. His baby girl, Kaitlyn, became the princess of his world in 1994. His love only flourished when his granddaughter, Karsyn, was born. Then he was blessed with two more grandchildren, Brentlee and Braylee, that he thought the world of. His family was the center of his life.
Shawn loved fishing, camping, cruisin’ the ocean and Razorback sports as long as he was with his family.
He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Arlis Allen; grandfather, Richard Johns; nephews, Zach Walters and Dalton Walters; niece, Allison Walters; and father-in-law, Bud Walters.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Becky; daughter, Kaitlyn (Drew) Haney; grandchildren, Karsyn, Brentlee, and Braylee; mother, Rebecca Allen; sister, Jeanette Owens, stepbrother, Jonathan Allen; and grandmother, Reva Johns.
The family would like to thank Carti Cancer Center, Hospice Home Care, and Rebecca Smith at Boston Mountain Rural Health Center at Bee Branch for their nurturing and care through his battle.
A funeral service will be held in his honor on Monday, April 14th at Damascus Road Cowboy Church at 10:00 am, and a visitation on Sunday, April 13th at Damascus Road Cowboy Church from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
