Sherica Sunshine Maxwell

Sherica Maxwell age 50 from Springfield, Arkansas, gained her angel wings and was called home to be with the Lord very unexpectedly on January 15, 2025, at her beloved mother‘s home surrounded by her loved ones.
Sherica grew up loving her homeland in Springfield, Arkansas. She loved nature, wood and all around everything southern bell. Sherica is a graduate of Greenbrier High School.
She was born in 1974 to her mother, Verna Day & Billy Day and biological father Gary McGinty. She is survived by her parents, Verna and Billy Day; father, Gary McGinty; three sons, Caleb McGinty, Ryan Maxwell and Aryren Maxwell of Springfield, AR; and one grandson, Hayzen McGinty.
Sherica is also survived by her sisters, Chastity Fitts of Missouri, Tresa McGinty of Texas, Paula Vernon of Texas, Deanna McGinty of Conway, Amanda Hopkins of Greenbrier and Gina Hankins of Greenbrier; one brother, heath Day of Texas; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is survived by many kids who knew her as “mom” as well as, extended babies and loved ones whom she loved as her own. Sherica always loved being the light of the party but loved being a mother and Mimi even more.
Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 11:00am on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home with burial following to Springfield Cemetery.
