Sherry Ann Jones, 71, of Quitman, Arkansas went to be with the lord on March 26, 2025. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 22, 1953, to William and Clara (Ambers) Thornton. Sherry enjoyed spending her time with her kids and grandkids. She always wanted to help her kids anyway she could and loved when her grandkids would visit her.
She is preceded in death by her Parents; brother Michael Thornton; sister Deborah Thornton. Sherry is survived by her loving daughter Betty McNeely and son William Hobbs, 8 grandchildren, Monisha McNeely, Timothy McNeely, Trey McNeely, Jazel Hobbs, Cameron Kelly-Hobbs, Kaylee Hobbs, Lexi Hobbs and William Hobbs Jr.; 5 great grandchildren Messiah Harris-McNeely, Trinity McNeely, Aaliyah Harris-McNeely, Zoey Gonzalez and Natalie McNeely; siblings, Mark Thornton and Faye Thornton. Though our hearts grieve, we do so with the assurance that Sherry is now in the presence of our lord, free from pain and filled with eternal joy. We are forever grateful for the impact she made in our lives.
