Sherry Delane Newton

Sherry Delane Newton, 87, of Bono, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026. She was born on January 26, 1939, in Pasadena, California to Raleigh and Alta Oxford.

Sherry worked at Greenbrier High School for 15 years before she retired and got to spend the rest of her time enjoying her grandchildren and family. She loved reading books, family genealogy, traveling, and enjoyed cooking for her family.

She is proceeded in death her husband, Woody Newton; parents, Raleigh Oxford and Alta Montgomery; and sister, Mary Haught.

Sherry is survived by her children, Duane Newton, Duana Guthrey, and Woody Newton; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of family and friends.
