Shirley Dutra, Nee Remus of Heber Springs, Arkansas born July 8, 1941 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Robert and Betty Remus, passed away on September 23, 2022 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Remus of La Puente, California.
Shirley is survived by her children, Lawrence A. Gitchen of Concord, California and Liane Tatum (Will) nee Gitchen of Fair Oaks, California; brothers, Robert Remus (Diane) of Greenbrier, Arkansas, James Remus (Debbie) of Fontana, California, Michael Remus (Joyce) of La Puente, California, Steven Remus of Jurupa Valley, California; sister, Frances Remus-Williams of San Bernardino, California; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special thanks to the friend, Lissa Pray of Quitman, Arkansas who was her most helpful to the family near the end of Shirley’s life.
Shirley was a big fan of Elvis Presley. A friend to many, kept Jesus Christ in her heart, and will be deeply missed by all who know her. She wanted no services.
