Shurley James Brown, 85, of Greenbrier passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Shurley was born on February 23, 1933 to the late Jesse James Brown and Gladys M Brown.
He serviced in the United States Army, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Shurley was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Brown and Gladys Johnson; brothers, Leroy Brown, Jesse Brown; sister, Betty Johnson; daughter, Rhonda Croft.
Shurley is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Mary Brown; children, Terry (Cathy) Brown, Robert Brown, Judy (Douglas) Rambo, and Teresa (Douglas) Tostenson; seventeen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and a host of many friends and family.
A memorial service will be Friday, October 5, 2018 at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home at 11:30AM.
