Stephen Pounder, 53, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away on July 26, 2019. He was born in Sunderland, England on February 4, 1966 to Brian and Margaret Pounder.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Pounder.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Freeman) Pounder; children, Katherine Pounder, Rachel Pounder, Dessie Arnold; grandsons, Logan George Pounder, Austin Brown; father, Brian Pounder; sister, Lynne Pounder; and a host of family and friends.
Steve grew up in a small town in England and lived there until 2017, when he moved to America with his wife, Donna.
From a young age, he loved playing the guitar and Elvis Presley. It was listening to Elvis sing hymns that brought him to having a relationship with Jesus.
Steve was a hard worker, a loving and faithful husband, and is described by all who knew him as a true gentleman and one of the kindest people you’d ever meet.
A celebration of life will be held at the Greenbrier Church of the Nazarene’s on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
