Terrie Lynn Hogue passed on to her heavenly home on June 3, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born on February 9, 1953, to Paul and Ann Sheets and grew up in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and extravagant creativity. Terrie’s life was a testament to her love for her family and friends, unwavering devotion to her Lord and Savior, and remarkable talent for interior design.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Paul and Ann Sheets; husband, Roy Gene Berry; daughter, Holli Caughern; and grandson, Elijah Kimbrough.
Terrie is survived by her husband, Edward Hogue; children, Blake (Rachel) Hogue, Janna Hogue, Roy Gene Berry Jr., Stephanie (Randy) Bradshaw, Kelly (Justin) Kimbrough, and Cathy (Rob) Lively; grandchildren, Katelynn (Andy) Curtis, Daxton Caughern, Samuel Hogue, Jacob Hogue, Gabriel Hogue, Luke Helton, Olivia Helton, Violet Helton, Elena Helton, Alec Berry, Matthew Bradshaw, Eric Kimbrough, Tanner (Whitney) Lively, Jason (Robin) Lively, and Emily (Spencer) Phillips; great grandchild, Rhylan Bradshaw; brother, Doug (Tammy) Sheets, Kelly Sheets; and a host of family and friends.
Her journey was marked by her involvement in the church and her steadfast leadership in the women’s ministry. She was a beacon of hope, offering guidance, wisdom, and encouragement to all who sought spiritual enlightenment. Her passion for interior design and bold flair added impeccable style to any space she touched. Whether adorning church functions with decorations or crafting a sanctuary of peace in her own home, her creative endeavors served as reflections of her unwavering faith and devotion to serving the Lord, as well as the love she carried for her family and friends. Beyond her creative pursuits and dedication to the Lord, Terrie was known for her larger-than-life spirit and her love for all things glamorous, adding a touch of sparkle to every occasion. Her extravagant style mirrored her zest for life and commitment to embracing joy in all its forms.
One of Terrie’s most cherished relationships was with her daughter, Holli Caughern. Their bond was one of deep love and unwavering support. Holli was not just her daughter, but also her confidante, her partner in ministry, and her closest friend. Together again in Heaven, they are continuing their tradition of shared laughter, tears, and countless precious moments.
Terrie leaves behind a loving family and a wide circle of friends who will treasure her memory forever but is celebrating her reunion with some of those that she held closest to her heart. As we mourn her passing let us also celebrate the life of Terrie Lynn Hogue and the profound impact, she had on those around her. She will be deeply missed, but her sparkling legacy will live on eternally.
Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Crosspoint Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Crosspoint Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Arkansas with burial following to Sutton Cemetery in Pocohontas, Arkansas with Brother Matt Bagby officiating.
