Terry Lawson McGlawn Sr., 70, of Higden, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2025. He was born on March 10, 1954 in Belzoni, Mississippi, to James Daniel and Mary Virginia McGlawn.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Daniel and Mary Virginia McGlawn; sister, Betty McGlawn; and son, TJ McGlawn.
He is survived by his loving wife 52 years, Ethel (Peanut) McGlawn; sons, Nathan (Jessica) McGlawn and Jacob (Nicole) McGlawn; grandchildren, Katlin McGlawn, Madison McGlawn, Makenzie McGlawn, Talyn McGlawn, Sarah McGlawn and Kadence Faughn; great grandchild, Kingsten Johnson; brother, Danny Ellis; sister, Penny; and special companion, Sampson.
Visitation will be from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 12:00pm on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home with burial following to Higden-McLehaney Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nathan McGlawn, Jacob McGlawn, Jay England, Cody McClellan, Joe McCall, Cory Hollingshead, and Donnie England.
