Thelma Jean Vaughn was born on June 25, 1933 in McDougal, Arkansas and died November 2, 2022 at the age of 89 years old at her home in Greenbrier, Arkansas surrounded by her family.
Thelma is proceeded in death by her parents, John Henry Webb and Lola May Gilbee; husband of 68 years Bobby Earl Vaughn of Greenbrier; brother; Bobby Webb, Henry Webb; sisters, Lorene Jarvis, Rebadee (Webb) Mcbride; son, Johnhy Vaughn; granddaughter, Sarah Washburn.
She is survived by her brothers, Dennis Webb, Jackie Gilbee; sisters; Zernabell Moody, Joyce Speaks, Shirley Maples, Marcella Faucett; children, Vanessa Vaughn, Alexis Hernandez, Isaac Hernandez, Tammy Hernandez, Shirley Daugherty of Greenbrier, Arkansas. James (Ruth) Vaughn of Winter Haven, Florida, Betty (Gene) Ramsey of Conway Arkansas; 8 Grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Thelma was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and spent her later years at home with her husband in Greenbrier, Arkansas. She raised children her entire life and was known for saying, "I love all of my kids", she was the embodiment of a mother. She will be greatly missed by all of her family, friends, and those who knew her.
There will be a memorial service held on Friday November 11, 2022 at 2pm in the Wilcox funeral home chapel with brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating.
