Timothy Wayne Snowden, 60, of Greenbrier, AR passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. He was born on January 15, 1964, to Maydean Snowden Hammett and the late Dan Snowden in Conway, AR.

Tim was born and raised in Greenbrier, AR, his hometown that he deeply loved. Growing up, Tim was passionate about all sports- baseball and football especially. Tim was an avid Greenbrier Panther fan and still holds the record for the most tackles in a football game to date. In the 90s, Tim contributed to the founding of the Greenbrier Youth Football Program and was dedicated to the success of youth sports.

Additionally, he enjoyed bird and deer hunting, fishing, sight-seeing, antiquing, and pulling pranks in his spare time. He was a Wagon Wheel regular and could often be found enjoying his breakfast there. Tim was a devoted employee to Rock-Tenn for 38 years. In his last days, Tim had a resilient and determined spirit even in the face of adversity.

He was preceded in death by, his son, Scott Snowden; his father; his grandparents, Maurice and Winnie Bell Snowden, and Ed Willie and Tressie Cardin.

Tim is survived by, his mother, Maydean; his daughters, Kayla (Travis) Gowin, Ashton (Lane) Pruitt, and Savannah (Brent) Burden; grandchildren, Henry, Maelyn, Myleigh Pearl, and Scottie Belle; brothers, Steve Snowden, Robbie (Missy) Snowden, Danny Snowden, Jason (Krystil) Snowden, and Jonathan Snowden; several nieces and nephews; and many other friends and family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Seeds of Love for their care and compassion.

The visitation will be held Monday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m., and the service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Springhill Baptist Church in Greenbrier, AR.
