Tommy Grant Watson

Tommy Grant Watson, 74, of Greenbrier went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2023. He was born on January 27, 1949, to Ules and Montine Watson.
Tommy, a standout basketball player, attended Greenbrier Public Schools, where he earned All State Honors while winning two state championships. From there he pursued his love of basketball while furthering his education at Hendrix College. He delighted in reminiscing with Mattie about his high school days and “playing ball”. Tommy went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in pharmacy. In later life nothing gave him more peace than relaxing on his farm, watching his cattle, and enjoying the company of family and close friends. His greatest joy in life was his granddaughter, Mattie.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 50 years, Teresa Shannon Watson.
Tommy is survived by his son, Christopher Watson (Jennifer) of Conway; his granddaughter, Mattie Watson of Conway; and his sisters, Elaine Goode of Conway, and Kay Reynolds of Greenbrier.
There will be graveside service, Thursday, August 3rd at 10:00am at Bethlehem Cemetery, with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating.
