Tony Clayton Oaks, 66, of Bigelow, Arkansas in Perry County, passed away on September 23, 2023, in Bigelow, Arkansas. He was born on October 26, 1956. Tony, known for his unique sense of humor, that left a lasting impression on those who understood it.
Tony is survived by his mother, Janet Oaks, and his children: Brad Oaks, Clint Oaks, Autumns Reaves, and Jeremy Reaves. He also leaves behind his siblings, Tammy Kinsey and Leo Clayton Jr. Tony was a proud grandfather to Cassie Oaks, Megan Kinder, Nolan Kinder, Jacie Oaks, Paisley Reaves, and Augustus Reaves. He was also a great-grandfather to Kacie Kinder, Josie Kinder, and Lyla Kinder. Tony was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Loy, his father, Leo Clayton Oaks, and his sisters, Meloney Kristofik and Candice Oaks.
In his educational pursuits, Tony became a Master Plasterer and graduated from the Oklahoma Horse Shoeing School. He had a successful career as a Master Plasterer and Certified Farrier, taking great pride in his work.
During his younger years, Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, and even riding bulls. In his later years, he found joy in sipping cold Budweiser and listening to Roy D Mercer.
Tony served in the Navy from 1973 to 1975.
