Violet Sue "Susie" Long

Ms. Violet Sue Long of Mayflower, AR went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2023. She was born on June 23, 1936, in North Little Rock, AR to the late Harry C. and Violet Booher.
Susie was a retired administrative clerk at Timex Corporation, she worked there for over 30 years. Susie attended church at The Pentecostals of Conway for 30 years, she more recently became a member of Northside Apostolic Church. Susie loved to spend time with her family, fishing, shopping, and went to Branson, MO, every chance she got.
Susie was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth Long; her parents, Harry and Violet Booher; son, Wayne Long; daughter, Melody Sue Cox; sister, Vivian York; brothers, Harry Booher and Franklin Booher.
Susie is survived by her sons, Tim Long (Liz), Terry Long (Tresia), and Ronald Long (Lynn) all of Mayflower, AR; her brothers, June Booher (Nancy) of Lincoln, NE, Bill Booher (Laura) of Laneville, TX, and James Booher (Patricia) of Mayflower, AR; her sisters, Betty Martin, of Reno, NV, Maxine Davis, of Mayflower, AR, and Patricia Wheeler, of Mayflower, AR; 15 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 30 great-great grandchildren; and many lifelong friends.
Susie’s service will be on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 11:00am with a visitation prior at 10:00am, at Northside Apostolic Church in Mayflower, AR, with Rev. Terry Long and Rev. Terry Turner officiating.
