Waeman Owens

Waeman Don Owens, 83, of Greenbrier passed away on March 12,
2018. Waeman was born on March 6, 1935 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to
the late Garnett Owens and Iva Vining Owens.

Waeman was of a member of the South Side Baptist Church in
Damascus, he serviced 21 plus years in United States Air Force, and
was a Camp Ranger for Boy Scouts of America for 23 years. He is
preceded in death by his parents; a brother Tommy Lloyd Owens, and
granddaughter Christy Wanamaker.

Waeman is survived by his loving wife Deanna Gail Owens of 61
years; daughter Cathy Helmer and Richard of Downsville, Louisiana;
sons Clay Owens and Pam of Eustis, Florida, Carl Owens and Sandy of
Greenbrier, Chris Owens and Jeannie of Greenbrier; eight
grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; Brother James Edwin Owens
and wife Loretta of Fulsher, Texas and many family and friends.

A gathering of remembrance will be at Bishop-Crites Funeral
Home, March 13, 2018 from 5 till 7 with a memorial service at 7pm
with Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating.
