Wilma Kay Newell, 73, died on November 28, 2020. She was born in Cherry Valley, Arkansas on May 6, 1947 to Charles Elmo Ussery and Mable Christine Booher Ussery.
Kay loved to play canasta and playing Bingo, going to the casinos. She loved her yard sales and enjoyed fishing and family get togethers.
She is preceded by her loving husband, Jimmy Newell; brother, Hubert Ussery; sisters, Ann Newell and Ellen Ussery; and parents, Charles Elmo Ussery and Mable Christine Booher Ussery.
Kay is survived by her daughter, Ellen Davis; son, Timothy Newell; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Newell, Ashley Smith, Danny Abbott, Ashley Quires; brother, Albert Ussery of Greenbrier, Ronnie (Bobbie) Ussery of Clendenin, West Virginia, Bobby (Deanna) Ussery of Wooster, Arkansas , Randy (Kim) Ussery of Damascus, Arkansas; sisters, Evelyn Cross of Conway, Arkansas, Judy (Ralph) Birchem of Greenbrier; a host of numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Bishop-Crites Funeral Home from 8:00am to 8:00pm with family receiving family and friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Funeral will be at 10:00am on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Marcus Hill Baptist Church with burial following to Marcus Hill Cemetery with Brother Kirk Hardy officiating.
