Wilma Jean Breazeale (née Gross), a proud veteran, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of service, strength, and love.

Wilma was born in 1932 in Scranton, Kentucky, to Troy Gross and Nellie Bell (Hatton) Gross. Raised with a strong sense of duty and determination, she graduated from high school and answered the call to serve her country by joining the newly formed United States Air Force. During the Korean War, she served honorably and dedicated her career to military service, ultimately retiring with the distinguished rank of Master Sergeant.

Outside of her military career, Wilma embraced life with enthusiasm and a warm spirit. She was an avid bowler who found both joy and friendship on the lanes, participating in numerous bowling leagues throughout the years. Her competitive nature and love of community made bowling one of her favorite pastimes.

Wilma shared a long and beautiful marriage with her husband, Garnet Philip Breazeale. Together they built a life centered on love, commitment, and family. She remained by his side until his passing in 2024.

Wilma's legacy live son through her loving family. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Karen Fae McCracken (Hendrickson); her three grandsons, Jesse Don Wheelis of Milton, Florida, Jody Ernest Williams of Conway, Arkansas, and Earl Otto Williams of Conway, Arkansas; and her two great-grandsons, Austyn Thomas Williams and Hadyn Cole Williams, both of Conway, Arkansas.

Wilma will be deeply missed by her family, fellow veterans, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her strength, dedication, and unwavering love for her family will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff of Ridgemere for the exceptional care and kindness they provided Wilma over the last two years. They also wish to thank the compassionate teams at Heritage Living Center and Gentiva Hospice for their guidance, support, and comfort during Wilma's final weeks. Their care and kindness toward Wilma and her family brought peace during a difficult time and will always be remembered with sincere appreciation.

Wilma's life was a testament to service, perseverance, and love. Her memory will be treasured forever by those who knew and loved her.
